COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imagine a pumpkin vine wound its way in a field of barley, and a brewer harvested it all to make a beer. Add Northwestern hops and a blend of spices, and youve got UFO Pumpkin. The malt combination provides a smooth body and slightly sweet flavor, which balances perfectly with the earthy notes derived from the pure pumpkin. And like all of our UFO beers, UFO Pumpkin is unfiltered so all the wonderful flavors are right there in your glass. Cheers!

Bottle. Pours a hazy light amber with a fair head. Nice spice-heavy aroma with a lot of cinnamon. A lot less spice on the flavor - fairly bready, with a bit of pumpkin and a fair amount of cinnamon. Not bad, but fairly dull as pumpkin beers go.

Pumpkin is nowhere to be found in this from my point of view..quite bland and boring..really not good at all..spices and pumpkin? Perhaps you need The UFO to find them..after a few sips a drain pour..was expecting a better offering

BREWMUSKCLES (2651) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 15, 2012
the pumpkin pie flavor of his brew is simply spot on. terrific blend of pumpkin, nutmeg with a true cinnamon bark flavor that takes charge. the brew has a moderate body on the light side with a carbonation that is vibrant enough in so that it has an edge. this combines well with a nearly creamy and frothy head. not really at all beery except for the aroma which will tell you little about the taste. no alcohol apparent but you will get a nice pumpkin buzz (unless you rate off of 2 ounces). if you really like pumpkin then this is the beer for you.

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear but faintly hazed amber with a thin white head. Lots of spices on the nose, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg. Medium bodied, wheat, pie spices, more subtle than the nose would suggest. Soft bitterness, sweetness, light malt and pie spices.

12 ounce bottle from State Line. Pours a hazy amber color with a large fizzy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of pumpkin, banana. heavy pumpkin spices. The taste is pumpkin, spice, earthy notes, hoppy finish. Medium bodied with a bit of lingering spice. Pretty generic, but decent.

Aroma is full of nutmeg and a dash of cinnamon sweetness. Poured a cloud brown orange but had no head. Flavor was sweet, but robust with nutmeg and cinnamon. In some ways closer to the smoothness of a pumpkin pie. Palate had a zesty froth to it.

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2014 Smells just like pumpkin puree with all the proper spices. Beer advocate says this is the best pumkin beer. My money is still with Pumking.
