Pours a cloudy orange with a white head that quickly dissipates into some moderate lacing. The aroma screams fall full of spices but not overbearing. The taste unfortunately falls a little short for me. There’s very good spice on the tongue but it finishes with a weird sort of bitterness. The combo doesn’t quite work for me. If the body were a little thicker, it’s possible that the pleasant spice notes could carry through but that’s not case. Decent. can8ianben (1545) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 9, 2012
Meh - sort of a thin bodied beer full of fall seaonal spices... So, conclusion,... if you like cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamon,... you’ll like this?? I dunno. rustbucket0873 (460) - Greenville, South Carolina, USA - SEP 7, 2012
pours a golden color which is not clear, and a foamy white head. the aroma is pumpkin, cinamin, cloves, yeast, , allspice, (pumpkin pie spices) and malt. the flavor is strong up front with pumpkin and fades very quickly to spices flavor.. then feeling very watery and leaving a not so great after taste. Im not a big fan of pumpkin ales and out of the ones i have tried.. this is towards the bottom of the list. BeerKurve (520) - - SEP 6, 2012
Dark Orange and hazy, much like the namesake on the bottle. The aroma gives off a rich scent of Pumpkin, Cinnamon, Apples, Yeasts, and Malts; While the flavor is that of Cinnamon, Pumpkin, Yeasts and Malts. Flavor starts out mild, but gets stronger as the beer warms up. Light bodied with the spices adding in a kick to the overall feel. A good Pumpkin Ale overall but could’ve had more vibrancy in the flavor. bigrond (1499) - factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 6, 2012
Light and crisp. Didn’t have that dominant pumpkin flavor I look for in this style. But it was very easy to drink.

Comes out of the tap a hazy honey golden with a fairly thick pale golden fine-bubbled head. Aroma has malty and fruity notes plus hints of cinnamon and pumpkin. Malty flavor has hoppy and cinnamon notes, as well as a good amount of pumpkin taste. Unlike many other pumpkin ales I have tried, the pumpkin flavor does not dominate the others, which is a plus. Smooth texture has good body and a decent amount of fizz. Save it for fall - or enjoy it now. JulienHuxley (5809) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 1, 2012
Bottle. Hazy gold pour, thin whitish head. Aroma of pumpkin pie, lots of spice, but it remains rather fruity, maybe some notes of genuine pumpkin in there. Taste is grainy, really malty sweet with a light spice finish, the pumpkin pie flavor is well rendered. Palate is medium bodied with smooth carbonation. Pretty good. $2.25 for a single of this. Enjoyed at fridge temp in a tulip. Hazey sort of dark orange but very light. no head at all. Lots of very big fresh pumpkin scent. it’s very pleasant. Taste is the same. Tastes like fresh pumpkin. Nice and balanced, no big dominating spices, semi-sweet finish. 25% carbonation, light body. Very pumpkin-y finish. ozarkspops (368) - - AUG 29, 2012
Unfiltered orange, cider like appearance. Light head. Aroma: pumpkin and cinnamon. Taste is specimens followed by pumpkin. Not bad for a style I typically can't stand.
