Light, crisp, refreshing UFO White follows in the tradition of spiced wheat beers that have been brewed in Belgium for well over 300 years. Brewed with orange peel and a unique blend of spices, UFO White is the perfect choice for a summer’s barbecue, a night out with friends or any time you¹re thirsting for something a little different. Like UFO Hefeweizen and UFO Raspberry Hefeweizen, we leave UFO White UnFiltered for a more natural taste and appearance.

Aroma like a freshly peeled orange. Unfiltered light wheat. A little sweet with a light refreshing citrus taste. Great summer day beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from ASDA, Washington. Hazy pale straw coloured with a quickly disappearing large white head. It has an orange, bubblegum and lemon flavour followed by a spicy, warming finish. Good.

Bottle purchased in Birmingham, while on vacation.

Pours a straw yellow color. Well carbonated. Lots of sediment. Firm white head, about two fingers. Great retention, good lacing.

Aroma is odd. Coriander, pepper. Orange. Somewhat medicinal, or is it a spice. I can't quite put my finger on it.

Taste is moderately spice spicy. Pretty good wheat backbone. Coriander, white pepper.

Mouthfeel is medium light bodied. Initially odd, but I've adapted. Pretty drinkable.

Overall, it's pretty good. Different, but I adapted. Good brew. Aftertaste, is that plum? Anyway, I would probably buy it again, and I might recommend it.

Bottle from Asda. Hazy gold in colour, with a thin, white, head. Aroma of citrus fruits, white bread and coriander. A rather thin mouthfeel, with flavours of bubble gum, grainy malts and orange peel, leading to a dryish finish. Ok.

Deep cloudy burnt orange but no head. Heavy on the orange, cheap orange, berries, spice, malt, yeast and coriander. Sweet and malty residue with a dash of spice and toothpaste. Quick finish. Bordering on unpleasant.

A fair stab at a Hoegaarden tribute: interesting minty note, but the orange and coriander seem a bit muted. Nowt special

What happened to Harpoon? When they went national, the wheels came off, and this beer is a good example. Sure, it’s unfiltered, but the banana, cloves and spices taste like they were made in a lab. The whole thing is a sweet, sticky mess, like Sprite going flat. Shooting for the mainstream left them with nothing of note, including this beer. Just because it’s readily available doesn’t mean you should drink it.
