brown plastic bottle 1500ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Slovak crew (Gurthnar, Cuso and Miro) and Marko. Darker golden coloured, small white to off-white head, bready nose. Malty, bready, green apple and diacetyl with notes of caramel in rather short sweetish finish.

Marko (6088) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - JUN 8, 2015
PET. Thanks Gurthnar, Cuso and Miro! The body is "old gold" with a tiny white head. Simple malty, slightly bready aroma. Weak taste, banana bread, malty, stale and flat. And it’s freshly tapped and kept in good condition. Shame, another one I need to retry.

Cuso (8935) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JUN 5, 2015
Bottle kindly shared by Gurthnar, many thanks. Amber color with medium off-white head. Caramel, diacetyl in aroma. Taste caramel, grapes, diacetyl in taste.

Tap at the brewery. Clear amber-brown colour. Aroma malty, caramel, burnt sugar, light light roasted. Very similar profile in taste, caramelly yet dry. Stronger Plato shows in body and also in somewhat warming dry finish. Good one.

(Rating #4833)

On tap at the brewpub (03/03/13). Hazy deep gold pour with insane frothy white head. Biscuity, grainy, super grassy aroma, just a touch wild/farmy with a drop of honey. Taste is grainy, grassy, great balance of hops and fresh grain flavors, farmhouse. Palate is rich, silky, just enough carbonation to make this super drinkable. Is this as awesome as drinking a beer from HF? Absolutely. My favorite beer all trip.

My Bottom Line:
Hay and husks galore seep from this Svetly Specialni’s grain bill, as herbal hops and their bitterness seal a compelling example.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam decorates the honeyed gold glow.
-The aroma is like stuffing your nose into a freshly-delivered bag of Pils malts.
-Mouthfeel is rich yet drinkable.
-The finish is dryish.
-Yet another world-class brew from this brewer in the middle of nowhere.

On tap at the brewpub.

On tap at Nota Bene (as Vanocni Special, Christmas Special). Amber with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with bread and biscuit and a hint of hay. Very sweet malty flavour, quite unbalanced, and hard to finsh

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet - a bit artificial, with notes of straw and spices, leading to a dry spicy finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

bottle from Pivonka. Great beer, pretty strong, amber color, long pleasant palate, crisp taste.
