On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear deep amber with a brown hue and a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has candies sugar, bread and some sweet grains with a bit of dark fruits underlying. Flavor has more of an earthy grain and dark fruit combination with a bit of Belgian yeast underlying. Growler shared at RBWG 2011 from notes. Pours a clear brown color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have caramel and toffee malts, lightly toasted bread, dark fruits favoring raisins and figs with light spices. Growler thanks to some kind soul at RBWG. Pours a dark brown/red color with a medium white head. A sweet fruity, yeasty nose, rich reminds me of Rochefort somewhat. A rich toasted malt flavor, some dark fruit, dry, some heat. Very nice.

Keg @ Harriet. Deep russet color with a tiny off-white head. Some chocolate malt and toasty grain. Plum meat. Some brown sugar. Flavor is balanced. Mellow toast. Mild booziness. Red Apple skin. Sampled during Minnesota Autumn Brew Review 2011. Pours a hazy dark amber colored brew with a creamy off-white head that slowly dissipates to a cream top and some spotty lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, hint of tart berry Belgian yeast and some toffee. Taste is medium bodied, soft carbonation with flavors of caramel malt, toffee and some mild Belgian/Hefe yeast. Finish is slightly metallic, with a mild yeast and wheat aftertaste. This beer is closer to a Weizenbock profile than a Dubbel.
