Pours like a lemonade and has some banana scents, has a semi sour banana/wheat taste.

Tap. Hazy, dark-straw yellow in color with a small white head. Has a color that reminds me of darker lemonade. Shit, dude. . . Lots of banana Runts (c) jump from the glass in the aroma. Growing up banana Runts (c) were my least favorite, but now I’d say they rank about lime and the red hearts. I liked how they smelled far better than how they tasted, though, so I find this aroma very pleasing. Taste is less banana forward, with plenty of wheat, and graham cracker toward the finish. Maybe a touch thin, but this is a hefeweizen so I’m cool with that. Pretty damn enjoyable. Looking forward to drinking more of this while cruising down the freeway in the hot, hot sun. ryanfolty (2578) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - APR 27, 2012
April 27, 2012 tap at Valley Tap. Pour was cloudy yellow with some head and lacing. Aroma of banana and clove was very strong. Got the banana and clove in taste as well, plus the sweet maltiness comes through with a touch of citrus and maybe some floral notes. Palate medium to thick for a wheat beer and a very soft carbonation. JK (6199) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - DEC 6, 2011
Sampled from a fresh growler, from Brad I think. This hefeweizen has a big banana aroma, and the clove is there. Opaque orange appearance, but no visible sediment in my glass. Good, full palate. Sweet flavor with more banana. A solid weizen. beachbum25 (1092) - Powellville, Maryland, USA - NOV 6, 2011

Autumn Brew Review 2011. Cloudy yellow color with a medium head. Strong bubblegum aroma with bananas. Thick, grainy wheat flavor. Very light banana. Medium palate. Solid. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 21, 2011
Growler courtesy of tytoanderso. Pours hazy amber with a white head. Smells of bananas, coriander, clover, sweet wheat. Tastes of citrus, hay, spicy, grassy, sweet wheat some clover undertones. Enjoyable and nicely phenolic. Skyview (6076) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JUL 14, 2011
Sampled from growler and supplied by BDR. Pours a hazy golden yellow colored brew with an average sized off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin film top and ring. Aroma of banana esters, a hint of clove, and some light bubble gum. Taste is medium bodied, flavors of yeast, a hint of banana, honey, golden grain malt and a shallow floral hop. Finish is semi-sweet with a short lived banana and clove aftertaste. A solid hefeweizen overall. Pigfoot (2268) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 2, 2011
Harriet Wodan Weizen, from a growler.
Hefe Weizen brewed specially for MN Craft Beer Week. Originally tapped at the Blue Nile, Friday, May 13. These notes are from a growler purchased the next day.
Cracking the cap, and banana wafts out, sure as shooting.
Pale apricot appearance, very clouded, with a slim, soon-gone head. A bit disappointed by that. I like a huge head on a hefe wizen. We get it a little bigger on tap. Although, not big enough.
Aroma: banana cream pie, some citrus esters and wheat-y feel. Not picking up clove, so much. Very pleasant, however.
Tasting it, …brisk carbonation, minor but present bitterness. Wheat flavor is here, very refreshing, extra-consumable (remember that, my new word?). This gets better as we go, the flavor gets fuller, the texture is larger and warmer, it feels more and more like a weizen ought to taste. Lush, smooth, and wonderful. Banana flavor hasn’t left though, it hangs on to the palate, like an old dog. Getting sweeter, getting spicier. I’m liking this more and more.
