Bottle pours golden beer with slightly long lasting white head. Aroma is of cheap wine, yeast and slight aroma of raw malt. Tastes like polenta with pucker. Aftertaste is sweet and of honey and citrus fruit. Quite complex. yungbeerguy (31) - NEW ZEALAND - SEP 21, 2013
A great beer by harringtons, a refreshing drop and bittersweet aftertaste. lisagirl (264) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 21, 2013
harrington’s blandest lager yet. struggled to get much of anything to be honest, although there was something indistinguishable but nice on the nose. otherwise very little to see (drink) here. Cantabrian (1131) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 17, 2012
Typical pale lager appearance, golden with a brief white head. The aroma is a bit burpy, nothing alluring. Flavour is better: crisp and malty. Not bad for an ordinary pale lager. Nice dry finnish, almost hoppy. I love the label. Jimthechap (2064) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 5, 2012
Opened with a hiss and poured a golden beer with no head at all. Evidence of a few beads of small bubbles. Aromas malt driven with toffeeish, biscuity notes. Fluffy mouthfeel, very light and lemon citrus for flavour and a shortish finish. Dangerously similar to the preceding Harrington’s lagers.

Pretty much exploded upon opening, beer was flying everywhere...
Pours gold (after a large clean-up), with a large, fading head.
Nose shows bready malt and vegetable notes, along with soft spicy/earthy hops. Pretty boring.
Very similar flavours, with bready and cardboard notes alongside the soft spicy hops.
Carbonation is too high.
The most interesting aspect of this beer is definitely the recreation of Vesuvius upon opening. Ungstrup (37676) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 28, 2011
A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of malt and a light note of citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and citrus fruits. mkel07 (5993) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JAN 29, 2011
500ml bottle. Light and brilliantly clear this amber coloured lager holds a white head for a minute before it lets go. Malty aroma that overpowers anything else that might be struggling to come through. Looks can be deceiving as it carries more substance than you would think by looking at it.
