On tap at The Happy Wombat. Smooth mouth feel, the dark roasted flavours are quite strong. Quite nice.

330ml bottle bought at YATA in MOKO, Mong Kok.

Clear Cola blackish ruby colour; Less tha none-quarter finger head with residual soapy off-white foam which fades in 10 seconds; Poor sticky lacing with zero carbonation; Quite fragrant aroma of dark malt, with fair roastyness, strong caramel, toffee, chocolate, cream, sugar, yeast and fair grass; Mid to light sweet taste of dark malt, with fairly strong roastyness, strong caramel, strong toffee, fair dark chocolate, light floral, molasses, Cola, light lemon, medium bitter hops and grass; Mid to light body. Thin and slightly slick palate; Mouth Feel is dark maltyness in a slightly thick body. Pretty good roastyness with strong and tasty caramel and sticky toffee. Chocolate is light, no coffee taste. Cola abound but not watery. Nice moderate sweetness with fairly strong lemon to round. Pretty good!... Hoppiness is fair grass in nose. Light floral, fair lemon and grass in taste; Bitterness is fairly strong for a lasting, mid astringent caramel roasty finish; Fairly dry after taste. Light burnt and fairly bitter to mouth.

Comments: This ones roasty caramel character come throughin both aroma and taste, with a thicker than usual body and lingering light burnt sticky toffee to keep me interested. Better than I expected and quite likeable, too.

No head and little carbonation. Strong coffee, chocolate, malt aroma that kicks through to a matching and lingering taste with a hint of caramel. Nice for a change from IPA, but not likely to retry.

Can, which was over-carbonated, the beer sour ad bubbly, no notes of anything of interest and pretty much not very nice

Nice appearance but the taste is sour; maybe something didnt quite go right with this particular brew. Some chocolately notes come through, a hint of what this beer could be. Ill give it the benefit of the doubt and try another batch sometime!

You can smell the roasted malts with a hint of coffee . Its a nice dark beer with a big bubbled head . The label mentions a chocolate taste. I do get a slight hint of it but probably more a coffee flavor . Feels nice in the mouth although a touch weak Over all a nice porter but it is just missing something

Dark caramel malt, malted milk balls, wet dog hair, starchy and stale chocolate, licorice, yeast powder, soil. Thin body throughout, very watery and flabby with no malt support. A pointless beer. Harringtons is very "crafty" in their label design and naming, but their beer just plain sucks.
