Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft and pleasant carbonation. Robust roast-malty taste with caramel, liquorice and subtle (dried) fruity elements; moderately sweet and roasty bitter finish with a shy hoppy touch. Okay, a Bock of decent quality (24.04.07). pivnizub (10813) - Bochum, Porř, GERMANY - APR 25, 2007
Bottle: Chestnut coloured, small, but lacing off-white head; distinctive sweet malt, some dark fruit and a whiff of roasted malt in the nose; mainly sweetish flavour, medium bodied; short sweetish-fruity finish. Not bad, but a bit monotonous, like an average diluted Doppelbock............ bierkoning (13695) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - FEB 3, 2007
Golden color. A light malt aroma with touches of peach fruit. Sweetish alcoholic flavor with peach and mango. Malty as ever, this beer, but the alcohol rules. A light bitterness in the aftertaste. Average hellerbock.
