On tap @ Ølbaren. Pours a clear brown with an off-white head and some lacings. Quite sweet and malty. Caramel aromas with hints of metals. Medium body. Dry finish. Would be a bit better with a bit more body. yespr (44810) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - NOV 28, 2008

Draught at Ølbaren. Clear mahogany (red/brown) - white head. High malty, caramel, sweetness, berries, light smoked, ryebread, nice clean & perfect.... MoritzF (9851) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - SEP 4, 2008
(bottle) Clear, brown colour with a short off-white foamy head. Sweet roast-malty aroma with caramel, a touch of liquorice and cacao. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft and pleasant carbonation. Robust roast-malty taste with caramel, liquorice and subtle (dried) fruity elements; moderately sweet and roasty bitter finish with a shy hoppy touch. Okay, a Bock of decent quality (24.04.07). pivnizub (10575) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - APR 25, 2007
Bottle: Chestnut coloured, small, but lacing off-white head; distinctive sweet malt, some dark fruit and a whiff of roasted malt in the nose; mainly sweetish flavour, medium bodied; short sweetish-fruity finish. Not bad, but a bit monotonous, like an average diluted Doppelbock............ bierkoning (13299) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - FEB 3, 2007
Golden color. A light malt aroma with touches of peach fruit. Sweetish alcoholic flavor with peach and mango. Malty as ever, this beer, but the alcohol rules. A light bitterness in the aftertaste. Average hellerbock. JorisPPattyn (9929) - Ursel, BELGIUM - JAN 20, 2007
Orange-tinted chestnut colour, with thick & creamy, collapsing tan head. Dark, sweet malts, nearly chocolate, but with grassy overtones, leafy. Rather bitterish taste with an unmistakable but discreet sweeter, malt underbuild. Roasted malts, combined with some DE hops gradually fill in, lending it a bitter, sharpish frame. Medium to well-bodied. Slightly burning MF, quite slick. Good Bock, not too sweet, but I might have preferred the balance roasted/hops more tilted towards the latter. Txs, Sebastian.
