Bottle: golden coloured, rather quickly diminishing off-white head; cloves and citrus-fruit in the mild aroma with a faint touch of cinnamon; mild sweetish-sourish flavour, light bodied; watery, fruity-sweetish finish with the faintset tinge of a grapefruity tartness. Clean and boring................ Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 4, 2007
Hazy amber wheat with a moderate head. The aroma has good notes of banana just like the flavour, that also have notes of other fruits, sweetness, wheat and a very light bitter finish. The notes could have more power, but it’s a very nice weiss. fonefan (49586) - VestJylland, DENMARK - OCT 2, 2006
Bottle. Slightly hazy orange color with a mid-sized off white head. Aroma of clove, sweet citrus, banana. Taste is sweet yeast, wheat malt with some light citrus notes. MoritzF (9979) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - SEP 8, 2006
(bottle) Slightly hazy orange colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Ashy and slightly sweet citrus and banana aroma with dense clove phenols. Moderately sweet yeasty and wheat-malty taste with light citrus notes, light to medium body, well-carbonated mouthfeel; minimal acidic and slightly bitter, clovy finish. Okay, but not an outstanding Weizen. ganache (5960) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 16, 2006
Bottle. Aroma has some herby floral notes in addition to wheat, yeast, citrus, and perhaps a sweaty sock or two. Hazy golden pour with strong carbonation. Tart, rather acidic taste, thick wheatiness and yeastiness, perhaps overly crisp (via carbonation in a role usually filled by spiciness). Unusually thick yeasty creaminess. Light-bodied and kinda boring.

Very carbonated hazy golden beer, with both orange and greenish highlights; good dense & creamy off-white head. Cloves, some banana & citrus. Coriander-y without it being it really. Fruit (banana/citrus) aromas get more intense warming up, getting more and more fusels-filled. Dry-bitterish taste, quite some fusels. Less fruity than the nose suggests. Spices, cloves but also root-spices. Fusels and esters (not very fruity ones) again, even something fishy. Carbonation makes it nearly Champenoise , but it is quite dry at the same time. Wheat slickness. A bit better than average Weisse. Not overly ideomatic. bierkoning (13392) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - MAY 30, 2004
UPDATED: SEP 20, 2005 Brewery tap, Würgau. Almost clear. Sweetish flavor with banana and just a soft floweriness. Not world shocking but thirst quenching and pleasurable.
Bottle: orange and chewing gum in the aroma. Herbal flavor with a hint of cinnamon and mandarin. Prickly mouthfeel. Thinnish. rauchbier (3902) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - APR 8, 2004
Bottle conditioned, bought at Fabeers in York. Cloudy lemon gold, thick fluffy white longlasting head and moderate condition. Plenty of banana and esters in the nose but with little to balance it, faint suggestion of smoke develops. Full bodied in the mouth with notes of honey, yeast and bananas and a distant fruity raspberry note. Ester and yeast in the finish with some powderiness. Middle of the road weissbier.

Cloves dominate aroma.
Murky yellow, lowish creamy head.
Peppery clove and hayish flavors - not too exiting.
Medium to light body.

Bottled. Dark yellow, cloudy, creamy small head. Classic banana aroma. Sweet and reasonably firm. Very traditional.
