Michael27 (2359) - Berlin, GERMANY - SEP 19, 2017
Aus der Flasche getrunken (Händlerlieferung). Schönes Dunkelbraun mit vie Schaum im Glas. Subtile, unaufdringliche Malzigkeit ergibt eine gute Trinkbarkeit.

Beerhunter111 (22513) - P´Castle, GERMANY - FEB 26, 2017
50cl bottle. Pours clear reddish brown colour with a huge most good lasting beige head. Aroma of red malt, molasses, syrup, some caramel. Taste of medium sweet malt, red malt, caramel, molasses, some spices.

Erzengel (9504) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - NOV 11, 2014
Sehr viel Schaum und Kohlensäure, dunkelbraune Farbe. Malziger Geruch.

MadRobin (2988) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - JUL 8, 2013
Poured from 500 ml bottle at the Klosterbräu tavern at the Rose and Clematis Festival in Unterlietzheim, Germany. Clear, mahogany with a 4-finger tan head and good lacing. Aroma of caramel, dark malt and mild chocolate. Taste of caramel, chocolate, mild dark fruit and roasted malt with a touch of floral hops. Medium/light body and medium/high carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - AUG 8, 2012
It’s dark black/brown with a red hue and a creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, syrup and nuts. The flavor is moderately sweet with a light bitterness and notes of roasted malt, syrup, nuts and hints of chocolate, and the finish has a light bitter and dry end.

Strong malty taste, mild carbonated. Very good beer however not brewed in the Neresheim monastery by the last few monks there.

Mariusz (12080) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - APR 25, 2012
Bitter and roasted. Quite unpleasant taste when fridge cold, but considerably better when a bit warmer.

MoritzF (10095) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - SEP 3, 2010
(bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a medium-sized tanned foamy head. Toast-malty aroma with caramel, grainy notes, herbal hops and traces of vanilla. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, calm on carbon. Smoothly toasted malty taste with caramel, subtle dried fruity notes and vanilla; sweet and mildly roasty and hop bitter finish. Surprisingly good compared to the other Härtsfelder beers I had so far. 18.VIII.10

pivnizub (10811) - Bochum, Porř, GERMANY - AUG 22, 2010
Bottle: Clear, amber coloured, stable medium-sized off-white head; clean grainy and toasty nose with a good fruity (dried fruits) support; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied; slightly lingering caramelly and also hoppy finish. A very good, well balanced and well rounded Dunkel.....

Geiserich (4621) - Linz, AUSTRIA - JUN 26, 2010
Bottle: Dark brown color, off-white head. Light sweetish, malty aroma, light hints of caramel and roasted malt. Flavor is light malty, light bitterness in the end. Only some hints of roasted malt.
