COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Aura is a pale and fresh lager with a pleasant saaz hopping. The fresh flavor is aromatic and balanced. Aura has been brewed to celebrate the 120th birthday of the original Aura beer (brewed in Turku), as well as the 775th birthday of the city of Turku, the oldest city of Finland. The hopping has been considerably reduced compared to the original recipe.

Quite regular Finnish bulk lager, maybe a bit better than some of it’s kind.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2013 280313. Bottle at home. Pours clear golden with a nice frothy head. Aroma butter, hay. Light bodied, Very Pale Lager, as typical tasteless as one can get.

laiti (8481) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 22, 2013
33 cl bottle @ Atala. Rated on 08.10.2008
Aroma is malty with grain, distant herbal notes and hints of grassy hops. Flavour has grainy malt, some grassy hops, hints of citrus and herbs. Typical and harmless, better than most Finnish bulk beers though. Quite different than the ”special” version called Juhla‐Aura.

Lambister (520) - FINLAND - OCT 24, 2012
33cl. Golden colour with medium white head. Fruity first bite with nice hops and truly refreshing taste. Good compared to other mass market lagers.

Brandman (2954) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 16, 2012
Clear yellow body white head. Quite basic bulk lager. Has both more toasty flavour and grassy hoppy than usual ones.
