Bottled (BB20031026...) at Post-PBF, Vaasa. Dark brown, small head. Cardboard, cardboard and toffee up front. Sweetish with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel, low carbonation. Peppery caramel, cardboard and rye bread. Black pepper finish. Probably not much worse today than in 2003.

mrdasilva (120) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 7, 2006
Huge good head, deep ruby red color. Mild, metallic aroma turns a bit fruitier as the beer gets warmer. Nicely malty, soft, calm flavor. Some nasty metal in the flavor also. Dry coal-like finish. Very nice palate.

raymondwave (931) - FINLAND - NOV 22, 2006
Not too sweet, not too dry. Good roasted caramel and coffee taste with a little smoke. Nice full mouth feel.

Ungstrup (37866) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 1, 2006
A brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and malt, while the flavor is sweet with hints of smoke as well as stronger notes of caramel.

Papsoe (25062) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 7, 2006
(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, clear light brown with a creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Soft, roasted, malty nose. Flavour of sweetish, roasted malt - almost no bitterness. A bit too heavy in carbonation. A very harmonious and pleasant drink. 030106

madsberg (11773) - Søborg, DENMARK - JAN 4, 2006
Bottled: Amber coloured. Unclear. Beige head. Chocolate, sweetness, malt and light fruit in the nose. Has some vague smoked notes. Flavour is sweet and crisp. Chocolate and fruity. Very light roast. Light bodied. Is dry and sweet in the end.

oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - APR 18, 2005
Bottled. Dark copper coloured, beige bubbly head. Caramellish and breadish aroma. Caramel and berries in flavour. Sticky, dry mouthfeel.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 16, 2004
Dark red color with medium sized beige head. Sweet, malty and caramel aroma is pretty mild. Thin mouthfeel with watery start in flavor, somehow metallic ending. Mildly dry aftertaste with some roasted tones, carbonation comes up too strongly in the end. Basic Finnish dunkel with too much carbonation.

TBone (17684) - Pori, FINLAND - MAR 6, 2004
Dark reddish-brown color with quite big light brown head. Typical sweet malty dunkel aroma. Sweet, some roasted malt and caramel, carbonation giving soft mouthfeel. Unfortunately very thin and watery. Slightly hoppy and bitter aftertaste.
