Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, - APR 16, 2011
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of saxo. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Heavy, greasy smoke in the nose. Medium body, sweet and solid malt base but the thick smokiness dominates entirely. Subdued hops. Not too bad a stab at a Smoked. 160411

kerenmk (4751) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - DEC 28, 2012
Bottle sample at a tasting at our place. Thanks troubles and DSG. Pours clear to murky dark golden with white wave. Sweet, smokey, hot dog/ chorizzo aroma. Delicate smokey taste, a little honey. Sticky texture, delicate carbonation, long finish.

DSG (14764) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - DEC 12, 2012
Bottle shared at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks oh6gdx for this bottle! Clear deep golden with a white head. Aroma of oxidation, grainy notes, a bit of honey notes, burnt tires and light smokiness. Sweetish flavor with some malt, honey-ish notes and subtle smokiness. Finishes drier. Medium-bodied.

TEJA (3056) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 13, 2012
Bottle sampled at omhper, thanks. Fluffy lasting white head. Clear golden color. Tarry aroma with some smoke. Small smokey maltiness. Well fermented to give a dry finnish. Small but plesent bitterness.

HopfenWeisse (1536) - - JUN 4, 2012
From old back log. Aroma is smoke, tar. Flavour is pretty much the same. Otherwise basic lager

larsga (7539) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 27, 2012
Biggish offwhite head. Clear coppery body with carbonation. Earthy meaty aroma with smoky strawy notes. Dry-sweet strawy smoky licorice taste with perfumy minty notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish perfumy salty licorice aftertaste with smoky strawy notes. Deeply weird, but still nice in some bizarre way. (0.33l bottle, Alko Arkadia, Helsinki.)

laiti (8468) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 19, 2012
33 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 08.01.2011
Aroma is slightly smoky with grainy malt and some artifical tar esther. Flavour has grainy malt, some artifical tar and hints of smoke. Too sticky, stale and starchy, hard to find any use for this. Maybe as ice cold at sauna.

FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 18, 2012
330ml bottle (Alko Arkadia, Helsinki)
Pretty weird aroma - there’s not much there, but there is just a hint of terva, and something indistinct. Taste a bit fuller, terva clear, some gentle sweet bready malts. A bit of seared pork fat. When cold, it’s almost a bit watery, which isn’t undesirable in a 6.3% beer. Warming up, it fills out with some smooth sweetness. Carbonation fitting, stops it from becoming sticky. Finish has gentle tarriness and seared pork fat again. Not a patch on a proper terva beer, but still quite a pleasant drink. Psychologically, I feel that this is just a beer with a bit of extra caramel, and a few drops of smoke essense added.

Marduk (7694) - Reval, ESTONIA - MAY 18, 2012
UPDATED: MAY 19, 2012 330ml bottle, shared by FatPhil. Dark yellow color. Very small head. Faint smoke in aroma. Sweet malts, some smoke, wood in body. Quite interesting.
