COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
CHARLIE RUSSELL RED - Because the water in Belt is almost identical to the classic Burton water in England, we have brewed a beer very similar to an ale from that region. Two row pale ale malt combined with hops of a soft, flowery character but not overly aromatic or bitter, combine for an ale to be enjoyed year round.

dekester1 (370) - Town of Maple Creek, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 4, 2010
Tapped out a good head that maintained quite a while. A dark appearance. Aroma of malts. Good texture on the mouthfeel and nice malty taste with a moderate hop finish. Overall a pretty good brew worth trying.

RasterMaster (258) - , Oklahoma, USA - JUL 1, 2010
Sampled 14-June-2010. From tap at Grand Union Hotel in Fort Benton, Montana. Ruby copper pour into thick off white head that dissipates into a pool of foamy bubbles around the rim of the glass. Aroma of malty caramel and sweet citrus. Initial flavor of sweet citrus that fades into slightly hoppy bitterness.

Brought back from Toby’s great Montana Growler round up. Pours out a amber/orange topped with a sand head. Aroma was nice sweet malts some roast nuts and light hops. Taste was much of the same sweetness, malts but also a nice fruit on it.

ditmier (1508) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 28, 2009
Growler - Thanks Toby! - Pours a dense ruddy orange with a medium off white head...aroma is nicely floral, with a malty touch and some sweet fruit...flavour is much more dry than expected, bitter right off the bat, with a grainy backbone, malt that sweetens up toward the end...finish is a lingering lt bitterness...nice...

Savvy1982 (1706) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 6, 2009
Draft at the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy red/copper color, with a thin, quickly reduced head and no real lacing to speak of. A gentle, classic Bitter nose, soft fruit, malt, mild hops, caramel. Palate is fresh and crisp, with nice malt and hops. A classic, though unremarkable bitter.

oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 25, 2006
On Tap @ Harvest Moon Tasting Room - Pours a medium amber color. Aromas of caramel malt, hops, and a touch of citrus. Caramel sweetness in the taste with a good bitterness of hops.
