Bottle: 275ml only (Formally known at Nut Brown Ale).

Bloomsbury Brown was brewed to commemorate the company’s long association with Charleston, where the ‘Bloomsbury Group’ used as a meeting place during the first half of the twentieth century. Harveys delivered beer to Duncan Grant over many years and a bottle is still occasionally featured in his still life compositions.

A traditional Brown Ale. Sweet and dark with a nutty palate and discreet bitterness. A refreshing drink which may be served with a wide variety of foods or enjoyed in its own right.

Contains: Barley

Bottle from the brewery. Nice festive winter aroma, mulled wine. Watery appearance and taste. It reminds me of Scandinavian julmust, but less sweet, like a great soft drink option that would be great if you wanted to avoid heavy alcoholic drinks with food. Absolutely u offensive and a doesn’t taste like a loss of alcohol sufferer, just not much like a beer either!

Bottle @cgarvieuk. April Not So Fools Tasting 2014 [Rating Backlog April 2014] Pours brown, flat. Nose and taste is malty, slight black pepper, chocolate, its has a nutty sweetness to it as well. There was also a cardboard note to this as well.

Wie erwartet nicht der große Knaller, eher was angenehm Süßes für zwischendurch. Mild und leicht im Karamell, dazu etwas Malz und Schoko. Trinkbar, aber langweilig.

McTapps (6976) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - SEP 3, 2014
Bottle from the Middle Farm Cider Center in Lewes - Firle. Pours out in a hazy brown colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of malt and sugar. Taste of malt, flowers, caramel, roast and leaves. Dull finish. Not a enjoyable beer.
