A red beer with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet caramel with notes of hops, oil, and grass. The flavor is of grass and hops and the end is very bitter. A lovely beer. joergen (29353) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 29, 2005

Opaque dark brown beer, little tan head. Nice of mild coffee and lactose. Palate is fairly neutral. Mild minerals. Mild tangy coffee and a little lactose. Finishes neutral.
(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, clear, reddish brown with a dense, retentive, beige head. Vinous, lightly tart malt aroma. Full-bodied with sweetish, dark malts. Some notes of nuts and a somewhat rustic, fusty edge with a vague tartness. The hops are discreet yet still very much present. Charming in a somewhat old fashioned way. 240107
