COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled: 275ml and 500ml. Also available on draught.

India Pale Ale is brewed to a lower original gravity and this beer undergoes a similar process of maturation to the Blue Label. The result is a lighter, more mellow ale with a distinctive hoppy character.

A fragrant hop character, derived from a blend of Fuggle and Progress hops, gives this award winning ale a full but delicate bitterness.

Contains: Barley

Leighton (22027) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 18, 2016
Bottle at home in London - picked up at the Royal Oak. Pours totally clear orange-gold with a frothy, white head. The nose holds bland malts, tea, leaves. Light sweet flavour, watery, with simple malts, weak caramel, faint leafy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more impressions of caramel, buttery toffee, doughy bread, minimal bitterness. Kind of like a weak malt water. Pretty rubbish.

This indian pale ale sinks pretty quickly but lack punch, suggest drinking with a light meal

worldbeertaste (1806) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 7, 2015
Clear light orange with a frothy lacy disappearing white head. Smells terrible of toasted malt and stale hops. Taste sweet at first than moves to bland and finishes with a sharp stale Berry finish. Bland

275ml botte, thanks Pierre T. BB 03/2016.

Scopey (15431) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 5, 2015
Bottle from the brewery. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is soft, toasty grain, brown bread, stone fruit and earth. The taste is smooth, soft, mellow, toasty grain, earth, grassy and a touch of citrus rind with a short, dry finish. Light body and fine carbonation. Not bad really, just not very much to it. You could chug a lot for sure.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Barley and hops, bit citrus, decent bitterness. Nice and easily drinkable beer without big moments.
