Bottle from local Waitress, pours a pale yellow with a white head. The smell is mild citrus, light toasted malt. The taste is crisp and hoppy up frost, toasted grain and some citrus ending fairly bitter. Light+ in body with average carbonation. Not bad but a not particularly elegant. chinchill (5318) - South Carolina, USA - JAN 23, 2016
From a cask at the 2016 Atlanta Cask Ale Festival.
This has the fruity hops of an American IPA but without the normal power. Nice citrus notes but more like an American pale ale. The hop level does seem to increase with warming.
Moderately bitter with good balance, including some malts showing up with the dominant hops. jackl (8423) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 17, 2011
Golden color with a modest white head. The nose is grassy and fresh, hoppy with citrus zest. The taste is initially sweet and somewhat bready. The finish is moderately bitter and abrupt. Overall, OK. Christian (13823) - Odense, DENMARK - NOV 20, 2011

Cask at The Haymarket. Pours a light golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma of passion fruit, yeast and barley. Similar flavours with yeast and alcohol fairly prominent. Quite bitter with a long boozy, bitter finish. A little thin. Leighton (22307) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 29, 2011
Cask at the Argyll Arms, London. Pours clear gold with a white foam head. Pleasant, fresh and slightly weak aroma of grass and lemony citrus. Flavor is sweet up front, hints of tangy citrus, some white sugar and straw. Medium bodied, creamy, with fine carbonation. Sweet, subtly sticky finish, nips of zesty citrus hops, bit more plain sugar, and some lingering grassy bitterness that seems to arrive from out of nowhere. Decent beer overall. Cask (RBESG 2011, London) at White Lion. Clear golden/amber - white head. Ok hoppy, fruity, high bitterness, tea, herbal, orange, nice fruity hoppy, medium malty. stravale (3145) - Co. Westmeath, IRELAND - AUG 18, 2011
Cask @ Snow Goose, Inverness
Appearance - Straw colour, hazy, thin dense white head
Aroma - Citrus hops, tropical fruit, mango, peach, bit of straw
Taste - Grapefruity hops, sweet malt, tropical fruits. Bit bland for an ’American IPA’, but pleasent taste.
Palate - Citrus acidity to lingering bitter finish with a hint of cereal
Overall - OK IPA. Quite pleasent, but taste got duller with the drinking. It’s really a golden ale, not hoppy enough to be a USA IPA. It’s not ’very hoppy’ as the pump clip states. I was a bit disappointed with this one, expecting something with more zazz after reading the description. Easy drinking, though.
