"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2017 500ml from bottle bought at Waitrose. Bitter but as the name suggests, but a twist: citric and floral aroma, and slightly hoppy

Bottle, 500 ml from Pivoljub. Shared with Max and JFK10000. Pours cloudy golden with medium white head. Malty, light hoppiness, bitter finish, bit nutty. Light bodied.

Bill Becker (1773) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - OCT 19, 2017
From Mar 2007 This one pours from 500ml bottle a clear medium gold with a medium size head of foam that shrinks slowly leaving a fine layer and there's lots of lacing. The smell is delicate. I note some citrus(mostly lemon) and some malt. The taste is nice. The flavour is a blance of citrusy hops and seet malt with the hops *just* having the edge. There's also some fruitness and a touch of sour in there but they sit mostly in the background. The finish has a nice lingering lemony flavour that leaves you wanting more. Bottom line: A very tasty Ale and at 4.2%abv, it is a great session beer. Good stuff.

500 mL bottle poured. A pale golden, slight haze pour. Tons of foam head and lacing. Bottle brought back from Scotland, though unfortunately I wasn't the one who was there to bring it back. Aroma is a nice balance of malt and citrus like character. Refreshing. Malt fronted flavor. Light beer, but plenty of flavor. Love the citrus going on. Very fun try.

Pours a thick frothy head that gives way to a thin cap. Leaves some dirty lacing. Has a clear golden appearance. Mild citrus aromas as well as sweet bready malts with hints of toffee and caramel. Mild fruity flavours abound, some grapes, oranges, herbal hops as well as sweet toasty and bready malts. Very faint notes of caramel. Slick sensation with light bodied mouthfeel. Slightly faint carbonation. Medium finish with some light sweetness on the palate. Pretty good and very affordable for a 500ml bottle.

mikeyo1 (871) - Linköping, SWEDEN - AUG 5, 2017
