"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

50 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 17.04.2009
Aroma is rather hoppy with fruits, some hay and pine needles. Flavour is also hoppy with fruits, grapefruit, some pine needles, hay, biscuits and toffee. Refreshing, one of the best golden ales I’ve had.

Pours a thick frothy head that gives way to a thin cap. Leaves some dirty lacing. Has a clear golden appearance. Mild citrus aromas as well as sweet bready malts with hints of toffee and caramel. Mild fruity flavours abound, some grapes, oranges, herbal hops as well as sweet toasty and bready malts. Very faint notes of caramel. Slick sensation with light bodied mouthfeel. Slightly faint carbonation. Medium finish with some light sweetness on the palate. Pretty good and very affordable for a 500ml bottle.

Light aroma mainly fruity citrus, light golden appearance, cloudy with a small diminishing white head, medium body, this refreshing and pleasing ale had a generous amount of citrus flavour leaving a bitter aftertaste.

Pleasant golden brown appearance - clear with moderate carbonation. Nice hoppy aroma - citrus hops with an underlying yest / dough smell. Lovely balanced flavour - moderate bitterness at the forefront but with a sweetness (not overly so) following. Lovely.
