Cask at Weatherspoons, Eastbounrne. A very yummy golden ale, has more flavour in bottle I think but feels very homely in cask.

Cask. Pours golden with white lace top. Aroma modestly hop fruits. Taste has biscuity malts with a lemon hop finish and some sourness on the palate. Unspectacular.

Cask. Yellow Gold. Very hoppy (floral, grassy) over malt base. Pronounced grapefruit citrusy taste. Nice sharp bitterness. Citrus hop bitter finish. Refreshing. Nice beer. (2008)

Cask at the White Hart in Holburn. Yellow color with a foamy head. Nose of bread and citrus Taste is clean and notes of toast anf grain. A floral hop bite keeps it from being bland. Not bad but not special or as interesting as the name would imply

Cask at the SixBells, Cambridge. Mid- to dark gold, with a small pool of loose white head. Decent amount of lacing. Grapefruit, grass, a bit of butterscotch. Nicely bitter taste, not much to it but pleasant enough. Full body for the ABV. Massive bitter finish and long aftertaste, with some woody astringency right at the end. Simple and not one to remember but decent enough.

Pint into shaker from cask at Scotish pub. Clear with a fluffy creamy white head with great retention and lacing. Smooth body, full, and creamy. Nose is mild, a little nutty, a little grassy. Taste is lightly bitter, slightly herbal, a little grassy. Very nice, easy to drink, enjoyable pub beer.
