Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Darkish amber. Citric, lightly roasty aroma. Sweet and fairly light bodied with rich grapefruity hop character. Bitter, lightly resiny finish. Good, but Harviestoun can do better. harrisoni (18954) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2006
Cask gravity at Reading BF 06. Deep copper with lasting bubbly beige head. Gorgeous hop, intense aroma. Goodish fruity biscuit malt. Intense citrus fruity hop finish. Full on Harviestoun beer with biting hop finish DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - NOV 13, 2005
Cask Handpump at Fitzgeralds, Whitley Bay 02/11/2005.
Golden amber coloured with some citrus fruit present. Some dryness in the bitter finish which lasts. chriso (7583) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 13, 2005
Cask (gravity dispense), Chelmsford Beer Festival, July 2005. Attractive orange/amber colour. Fairly hoppy, as the lighter Harviestoun beers tend to be. Grassy and herbaceous rather than flowery. Citric, but with noticeable gooseberry character - reminiscent of a Sauvignon Blanc flavour. Mouthfeel is dry and a bit chalky/minerally. Clean and fresh, but not overloaded with flavour.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2006 Aroma is slight though it comes through a little fruity apricot and apple, maybe orange peel too. Taste is similar with a not as dry as expected finish and little biterness. A good session beer alround.

, Helsinki) Slightly hazy nut brown color with a tiny, but persistent and lacy head. Nutty, aromatic-hoppy aroma. Sweetish, aromatic-hoppy flavor with a dry, slightly acidic finish. Medium-bodied, smooth-carbonated palate. A pleasant surprise for a 4.1% cask, but still quite a basic brew overall.
Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Orange tinged brown, and small soapy head. Good fresh, grassy aroma. Silky mouthfeel, for a Bitter, a tinge of carbonation maybe. Hoppy flavour all the way throug, not overtly aggressive, just flavoursome, and holds to the finish. Slightly watery, slightly planty, but overall fresh and very refreshing. Good stuff. UPDATED: FEB 8, 2006 Too much bitter, I guess, the colour is almost organge, and the foam sticks great to the glass, but just nice. ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 21, 2005
