Light bodied with fine carbonation. Simple pale malt finish with wimpy bitter hay and lemon rind. A simple, refreshing golden ale.

Cask, one third pint at Jake’s Place where it was served comfortably chilled. Clear, pale golden body, tiny white head, poor lacing. Moderate aroma of grain and fruity hops. Floral hops in the flavour profile joined by pale malts. Subdued bitter ending, semi dry. An easy to drink thirst quencher (pub crawl in Edinburgh with mr_h, 09.08.2013).

Scopey (14730) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2013
Cask at Red Lion, Leytonstone. It pours pale golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is hay, floral, light dough and cereal. The taste is crisp, floral, grainy, earth and grassy bitterness with a bitter, lightly citric finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Easy drinking, crisp golden ale. Refreshing.

Cask @ The Pot Still. Pale yellow , good head. Grain malt aroma. Dry cereal resin flavour. Mild citrus aftertaste. Insipid and bland. What direction are Harviestoun going? They used to produce great beer.
