Cask @ Snowgoose, Inverness.
Light golden colour, crystal clear, thin white head with moderate lacing.
Nose of light citrus hop, light malts, faint grass.
Taste - citrus hop with some light earthy/herbal hop, light malts, bit watery....bit boring.
Palate - thin body, soft carb, citrus tang, light bitter. FInish same as main flavour with citrus tang,
This golden ale is a little above average, but was a bit disappointed with this one as Harviestoun do make some superb beers- unfortunately, this isnt one of them.

Cask (Oliver Twist, Stockholm) - Golden with a slight haze and a white head. Passion fruit, peach, lychees and pineapple in the aroma. Hoppy and pleasantly bitter taste with notes of passion fruit, grapefruit and pineapple standing out. Superb for the strength. Classy and full of flavour.

The fragrance has wonderful hops aromas, with elements of flowers, citrus and fruit. The taste is the same with a distinct but not intrusive bitterness. The body is somewhat thin. A good, refreshing and enjoyable beer!

Draught @ All Bar One, Clydesdale Plaza, Edinburgh. Pours golden and clear with a decent head. The nose has soap, lemon and herbs. The taste is tangy with green herby notes and meadowsweet. The palate is medium in structure and texture with a dry bitter finish, some of it hops, some malt. Overall, a good effort, perhaps would have preferred more hops and less malt on the finish, but decent all the same.
