Bullit (4703) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JUL 2, 2011
Cask @ Henglers Circus, JDW. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Nose is citrus, lemonade, some maltiness. Flavour is citrus, bit of grapefruit, followed by dry biscuit. Very refreshing. Fairly bitter and slightly dry finish.

Benjii (3050) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 26, 2011
Cask at the Caley Sample Room. Pours a light golden colour with a tight white head. Citrus hop and biscuity grain aromas with some sweetness also. Refreshing blonde ale with a citrusy lemon flavour. Creamy mouthfeel with some bitterness. Very clean tasting ale.

Been brought out of retrial with new artwork @ The Sir John Maxwell JDW. Biscuit, citrus fruit & resin aroma. Golden yellow colour, good head. Biscuit & citrus fruit flavour. Bitter aftertaste. A welcome return for this good golden ale.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2011 Draught @ Oliver Twist. Standard casked golden ale. Some fruitiness, some hops, some bitterness... Rerated: also at OT. I Liked it a lot better this time. Fruity. Apricot notes. Some serious grape bitterness. -> from 3 -> 3,8.

hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 21, 2009
Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Sweet, grassy aroma. Slight wheatiness in the taste with citrus and a mid bitter finish. Good one.

harrisoni (19341) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2007
Cask handpull at Knights Templar, JDW, Holborn. Pale gold, thin lasting white head. Slightly thin and ascetic, golden bitter. I was hoping this would be best of the lot and it isn’t. Yes, it has wheat, yes it has some harsh citrus hops. Good citrus beer, along the Harviestoun lines but lacks intensity and is a sub Oakham White Dwarf.

MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 29, 2007
A Mes rate: Cask at the Gatehouse. Golden blonde with lots of lace. Citric and floral aroma. Plenty of hoppy character in the mouth with a lovely creamy texture. Slight lick of malt for some balance. Lovely dusty bitter finish. A pleasant surprise.
