Cask handpull at Knights Templar, JDW, Holborn. Pale gold, thin lasting white head. Slightly thin and ascetic, golden bitter. I was hoping this would be best of the lot and it isn’t. Yes, it has wheat, yes it has some harsh citrus hops. Good citrus beer, along the Harviestoun lines but lacks intensity and is a sub Oakham White Dwarf. UPDATED: MAR 18, 2014 Straw colour. Spicy, herbal hop aroma. Light body, hearty bitterness, long dry finish and just a hint of sweet pale malts. imdownthepub (14553) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 13, 2003
Cask Conditioned at The Rose & Crown, Charlbury. Faint Lemony colour with white head. From the begining the flavour overcomes any doubts about the appearance, spicy lemon, apple, clove flavours. Refreshing late and fresh hop almost green in character a little oily perhaps but a very decent blonde beer.
