Marsiblursi (3076) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 7, 2010
(Bottle) Pours pale golden with a fast decreasing, off-white head. The aroma holds a nice blend of hay/grassy hops and white bread/straw-like malt. Orange juice and orange marmalade alongside hints of dried apricots and green apples also present. The nose is cleaner and less "canned fruit ester-ish" than your typical English Strong Ale. Hints of doughy yeast as well as honey and tulip. The flavour is light sweet and medium bitter. Tones of citrus, bread, straw, dry honey and apricot/dry pineapple juice alongside a grassy and floral afterbitterness. The mouthfeel is clean and light juicy with a near medium carbonation. Light wooden, too alcohol-ish finish. Medium bodied. Good malt and hop balance, but too alcohol driven in the flavour.

Bottle. Pouurs out in a clear golden colour topped with a small white head. Grainy aroma with notes of pine-apples. Medium-bodied with stromg notes of doughy yeast with hints of pine-apples an mild apricots. Medium-bitter finish of grass, doughy yeast and mild lemon. Decent, could have much better with some more time in the tank.

jongo (85) - Stockholm, Sweden, SWEDEN - AUG 7, 2010
Bottle. In short: golden color, floral, citrus, alcohol, medium everthing, light body, thin feel, lively carb.,white foam. Overall: boring but with some nice exotic fruit taste but nearly not enough, alcoholic aftertaste. Me no likey longtime!!!!!

pilsnerrogge (2972) - Finspång, SWEDEN - AUG 7, 2010
Pours deep golden with a creamy head. Sweet and malty honey aroma with notes of hops. Flavour is honey, liquorice and lots of grassy, metallic hops.

ekstedt (6929) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 7, 2010
Bottle (33 cl) from Systembolaget. Clear deep golden, medium white head. Bready and hayish malt aroma, with some floral and herbal hops. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Dry with a nice long bitterness. Very refreshing IPA-style english ale wich would have gained from some more aroma hops. Do not understand all the negative ratings though.

Joakgust (1466) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 6, 2010
Bottle, 33cl - Clear golden beer with a small head. Aroma is malty with notes of scottish ale, german bock, caramel, metallic hops and peaches. Flavor is fruity with notes of peaches, tropical fruits, passion fruits and hops. Very, very nice. Thank you for this Einar.

larsniclas (7144) - Billdal, SWEDEN - AUG 4, 2010
Bottled from Systembolaget. Goldenw with a brief, white head. Pretty sweet with a medium bitterness. Slightly alcoholic with notes of mash. Pretty boring.

330 ml bottle at OT, Stokholm. On August 3, 2010
BB NOV 2011
Clear golden color, small white head. Dry, wood, alcohol, fruity scent, also blueberries and sugary sweet. Alcohol, fruity scent. Alcohol, dry, bitter, wood taste. Bitter, dry, alcohol aftertaste. Full bodied. Smooth mouthfeel, with an evident, but not all together displeasing, alcohol touch. Medium bitterness. Maybe I had too high expectations due to the name ad the affiliation with Iron Maiden, but I expected more from this. Won’tbuy it again.

baggio (337) - norrtälje, SWEDEN - AUG 3, 2010
[email protected] Apperance: AMber with a small head and some lacing. Aroma: Malt, Orange, Wet bread. Taste: Citric notes, Hay, Caramel, Malt, Wet bread. Palate: Very malty at first but end with a crisp bitterness. Carbonation is medium with tiny bubbles. Ok, this wasn’t so good. Waaay to high residual sweetness and tastes incomplete. Almost like vort with a dash of lemon and hops.

rlgk (18851) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 3, 2010
Bottle. Yellow color, decent creamy offwhite head. Malty aroma. Malty flavor, some mash and some alcohol. Kinda strange bitterness. In my opinion, Maiden deserves better than this...
