[email protected] Apperance: AMber with a small head and some lacing. Aroma: Malt, Orange, Wet bread. Taste: Citric notes, Hay, Caramel, Malt, Wet bread. Palate: Very malty at first but end with a crisp bitterness. Carbonation is medium with tiny bubbles. Ok, this wasn’t so good. Waaay to high residual sweetness and tastes incomplete. Almost like vort with a dash of lemon and hops.

Cask at the foot of the walk. Pours pale yellow, nose is light pine, taste is caramel, pine, mango.

Backlog: Bottle bought at Systembolaget when it was available. Nothing special as i remember it, too bad, could of been fun.

Jag gillar idén, jag gillar Iron Maiden men det här ölet var ingen höjdare. En ljus och fruktig öl men som inte lämnar något större avtryck.

Nische (2236) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 7, 2013
Bottled from Systembolaget 2010. Golden with a brief, white head. Pretty sweet with a medium bitterness. Alcoholic taste.

On cask at The Crystal Palace, Glasgow. Pours a blonde colour with a thin white head. Aroma of pine, passion fruit, mango and caramel. Similar flavours. Quite bitter with mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Nice.

Tart and sweet fruit scent with elements of sour caramel. Malt taste with hints of tangy caramel and alcohol. Long bitterness in the finish. Tasty but with a strange flavor that is more interesting than good!

Bottle @ home. Pours a pale, golden straw, with a slight haze and a light white head. Aroma is clean with a medium maltiness, balanced floral hop notes, and elements of lemon and grapefruit peel. Off-dry on the palate, medium bodied, maltiness more pronounced here than on the nose, citrusy hop tones come back, with a growing, quite pronounced but balanced bitterness. Alcohol comes through a bit too much in the aftertaste, though. Highly enjoyable session beer, albeit on the strong side. Quite true to the Harviestoun style. More of a ’Wrathchild’ than a ’Powerslave’... (Rated on 2010-08-03.)

Bottle share with morther in law, cons 2010-09-24 AR: wee toffee AP: pale copper, 1 cm bone white steady froty head F: toffee, dry, round taste, like a Innis & Gunn but much greater and more stabile

Bottled (thanks KS!). Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity catpissy with some mild maltyness. Flavour is sweet fruits, some malts, mild floral notes as well. Quite nice.
