Watery fruit medley nose, watermelon towards the end. Dense golden body, clipped white head. Upfront biscuity bitterness, with a smooth enough midrange that allows milky lemon creaminess to the palate rather than the other way about. Very smooth, more enjoyable than I expected.flying_pig (1601) - SCOTLAND - NOV 23, 2011
Bar staff checked the cask a bit later, just said ’A.P.A’ and the ABV was as his here. Didn’t check the pumpclip as ordered downstairs / poured upstairs.

Cask as JDW:stravale (3088) - Co. Westmeath, IRELAND - NOV 15, 2011
Mild on the nose, there is some tropical fruit notes to begin with and it has a surprisingly summery aroma to it for a ’festive’ ale. There is some flowery notes and faint hops, with a bitter finish.
Clear, golden amber colour with a pinky sized, foamy white head that leaves a little lacing on the glass.
Clean tasting with a mildy fruity taste and with some mild citrus, although it is much like the aroma & is also rounded off by a bitter finish.
A light medium body that is smooth with low carbonation and a bitter end.
This one was pleasant with a nice, mild fruit aroma and taste but I didn’t go back for a second & probably won’t have this one again I’m afraid. Worth a try if you come across it though.

Bullit (4672) - Burgos, SPAIN - NOV 15, 2011
Amber, clear, thin dense white head, good lacing.
Aroma - not a lot on the aroma but spicy hop, touch of citrus, slight vegetal/metallic
Taste of spicy hop, slight herb, citrus orange, sweet malts, slight butter.
Palate - soft carb, medium body. Finish - bitter, citrus hops, slightly sour grapefruit, lingers a bit.
Quite a nice beer but a bit too sweet.
