I like these British bitters. This one has a nice hop taste with some lemon traces. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

First tasted this in Coanes, Johnstone in August 1997. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear amber in colour with a thick creamy white head. Fantastic aroma of sweet syrupy peaches and thick pouring cream. Thick creamy mouthfeel for a 4.5%? and superb lacing. Pale malts give a smooth juicy medlay of fruit notes booming in the mouth, with sweet ripe peaches and mango along with golden syrup notes. Slight prickle of floral hops noted in the very short aftertaste but this soon fades. Finish is sweet and fruity with Del Monte tropical fuit salad flavours bursting through. This is an excellent golden ale and highly recommended.

On cask at The Haymarket. Pours a golden colour with a thick white head, Aroma of caramel, lemon and lemon cheesecake with vegatal notes, maybe courgette? Flavours of grassy hops with vegetal notes again. A little cabbage and courgette with some iron and caramel. Quite bitter with mild carbonation. Nice.
