Spoons festival! Slightly hazy amber beer with a half decent head. Smooth semi dry palate. Low carbonation. Lots of fresh grapefruit bitterness. Traces of orange and a whisper of peach. Turns a little sweeter before the finish but has a lingering bitter aftertaste. Good effort!

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. At last something at this Spoonsfest to awaken the taste buds. Golden amber with a thin cream head; floral aroma with a hint of spice; sharp grapefruit flavour to start then becoming slightly sweeter; theres a prolonged finish with a dry, deep, bitterness. Excellent.
