500ml bottle, cellar cool. Lovely floral/grassy aroma. Pours pale gold with a white head, and delivers a crisp clean mouthful of beautifully balanced fruity sweetness and hop bitterness.: zesty bitter finish to a very refreshing pint. I loved it, and will be back for more. Graham77 (514) - SCOTLAND - MAR 24, 2013
UPDATED: JUL 22, 2014 500ml bottle. Pale golden colour with a small white head. A grapefruity and grassy hoppy aroma and a deep flavour with creamy backbone that is supplemented by an excellent level of hopping for both bitterness and flavour. Erzengel (8769) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - AUG 12, 2013
Thanks to Sean!
Tolles imperial IPA! --> 12/11/13/12

Bottled. Hazy pale amber, small head. Distinct apricot aroma. Sweet and fruity with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Apricots, hay, yellow plums. Log bitter finish. sm89walt (2065) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - SEP 11, 2011
500ml bottle. Poured a clear golden yellow with a lasting bubbly-creamy white head leaving a soapy lace. Juicy, bitter grapefruit, tangerine & peach aromas. Lovely biting grapefruit, resin & pine hop flavours. Light to medium body, firm mouthfeel, medium carbonation, lingering finish. Crisp, hoppy & refreshing.

Aroma: flowers, hay, fruits. Appearance: dark clear brown, medium frothy head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: hoppy bitters coming up, sweets, some bread, caramel. Overall: amazing "Golden Ale", loved the aroma and palate. Bottle from Morrisons, Fort William. Leighton (21296) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 18, 2011
Bottle at home in London. Part of the Sainsburys Beer Championship. Pours an effervescent gold with a small, white head. Aroma has quite a nice hop character, lots of grass, some delicate citrus, mild pee. Medium sweet, well balanced flavor. Toasty malts, light caramel, grassy bitterness, faint tangy citrus. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Faintly sticky finish, bready toast, toasted hay, mild pine, some grass and dandelion in the back of the throat. Quite fresh overall. Very good beer. berkshirejohn (6503) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 20, 2011
50cl bottle from Sainsburys. Pale amber with a rapidly fading white head; aroma has freh, dusty, grassy hops, some pine and some honey; hoppy flavour with some weak, flabby malts failing to support; then a mouth-filling hoppy fruitiness to end. Pretty good stuff - not as full on as a Yankee IPA, but it shows what we can do over here (well, north of the border anyway). JohnRMurdoch (4883) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - MAR 23, 2012
Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Hazy pale golden yellow colour, not much head. Vegetable resin aroma. Cereal grain resin flavour, very dry citrus aftertaste. Not really a proper IPA. Somewhere between a blonde beer & English Pale Ale. Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 16, 2012
Bottle from Drinkmonger (best before December, 2013). Pours a blonde colour with a thin white head. A resinous hop aroma of grapefruit, pine, lemon and caramel. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Lingering grapefruit and a dry finish. Not bad.
