Maracuja05 (2063) - Mainz, Rineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - DEC 10, 2017
09-12-17 // 250ml draft at the brewpub. Unfiltered dark amber, brownish. Small head. Aroma of sweet malts, some caramel, some roasty notes, even hints of chocolate in the end.

Piw (1292) - Rüsselsheim, GERMANY - JUN 27, 2015
Frisch gezapft. Dunkel mit leichter Trübung. Kleine Schaumkrone. Antrunk leicht malzig, dann fader Abgang. Wenig aromatisch. Leicht trinkbar.

Erzengel (9779) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - NOV 15, 2014
Süßlich-neutraler Geruch. 10/12/9/9

Beerhunter111 (23281) - Beerland, GERMANY - MAY 2, 2014
On tap at the brewpub. Leicht trübes rötlichbraunes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, leicht schokoladig, Karamell. Geschmack röstmalzig, Karamell, leicht schokoladig, gering würzig.

Koelschtrinker (22084) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - FEB 5, 2013
Wenig herber Antrunk, röstig, trocken. Starke Karbonisierung, helle Malznoten. Schnell bitterer wertend, zum Ende knackig. Nur noch geringfügig röstig. 10/9/8/8//9

fonefan (52426) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JAN 6, 2013

Draught @ Kleines Rüsselsheimer Brauhaus, An der Wied 1, Ruesselsheim/Alt-Hassloch, Hesse, Germany 65428.

ABV: 4.4%. Unclear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light nutty, burnt caramel notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, brunt caramel, nutty, caramel, mild and smooth, light grassy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121001]

Bierkrug (2129) - - FEB 3, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a dark amber color with a nice tan head. Aroma is malt and citrus. Taste is caramel, malt and eastery overtones. Palate is pretty smooth but the beers does not go down so easy.

TBone (18565) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 28, 2011
Bottled 1000ml (OPP)
Murky brown color, small white head. Caramelly, a bit toffeish aroma. Light to medium bodied. Caramelly, slightly grassy, dry finish. Lame.

fiulijn (21516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 9, 2008
Draught at the brewery
Beautiful hazy amber color; a peristent turbolent perlage supports a big thick head; it’s nice to look at, but I’m a bit scared by the overcarbonation or excessive fermentation. Luckily it was just a bad impression; indeed the beer has a light aroma and a solid flavor of caramel, with a high bitterness too; and the caramel contributes as well to the bitterness. Straightforward dry caramel brew, but well made.
