Poured into a glass. Slight of color but generally clear pour. Rice, grass and nuts. Well balanced throughout. Some sweetness, acidity and flavor. A good sake while having raw fish

The aroma is grassy with alcohol and rice. The appearance is clear and still. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is typical. Overall nice.

A smooth sale with slight Flavors of wood, grass and a touch of coconut. Has slight punch to it, otherwise it's very drinkable sake ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2012 Colorado Mead Tasting at Armin’s house. Thanks to Steve_0 for sharing his wedding rarity. Mikey loves it, so Ima gonna love it! Disclaimer: I know nothing about sake, so this is a rating from an amateur. Pours a very light, just a touch yellowish appearance with no head. Pear, light banana, a bit spicy, but pretty interesting aroma. A bit spicy, somewhat boozy, chewy sweet rice, sweet apple flavor with the booze having a nice prickly feel on the tongue. Maybe the best sake I’ve had and kind of makes me want to try some more.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2013 Bottle at the Colorado Mead Tasting ’12. Pour is clear honeydew with no head and good legs. Pear, sweet rice, white wine, somewhat husky, lacto, and cantaloupe in the aroma. Honeydew, pear juice, a touch of banana, apples, and biscuit with a light alcoholic burn on the finish; super dry. Slick body with no carbonation. Pretty nice Sake.

Pour out of 720 mL bottle, thanks to Steve for the pour! Clear white/yellow pour with no head, aroma brings notes of rice, some hints of vanilla, some white grape, peach, pear notes. Taste is a mix of peach, pear, hints of earth, with a slight rice wine, grape note, finishing fairly sweet, slightly dry.

Bottle courtesy of Paul at a tasting at Andy’s the day after doing a tasting at Paul’s. Pours a clear water color. Sweet melon and a touch of strawberry. Nice and clean, melon and warm rice. Light sweetness on the finish. Tasty.

Sampeld at cgarvieuk’s. Perfectly clear pour. Slightly earthy nose, hint of coconut. Slightly sweet palate, some rice flavours, pretty rough alcohol burn. Some complexity but otherwise not great.

In bottle. Clear as a bell. Aroma earthy and yeasty with a little coconut. Similar flavours. Alcohol is poorly hidden and quite harsh. A little sweet to finish.
