It’s golden with a white head, and the aroma has notes of malt, straw, grain, sweet bread and fruit. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of malt, dusty grain, bread and flower, and the finish is sweetish and a little dry. The BB is in 3 months, but it allready seems a bit too old.

pivnizub (10619) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - AUG 1, 2010
Bottle: Clear, golden, smaller fluffy white head; moderate to solid grainy and honeyish-fruity nose with delicate floral hops underneath; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, very soft; slightly lingering moderate sweet-grainy finish with subtle fruity hops in the backyard. What a pleasant Helles......

Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 25, 2010
bottle, donated by pivnizub. Golden, small white head. Malty with a fruity touch (apple) and some mild but pleasant hops. Mild, yet with its very own character.

Bottle, danke Günther! Green golden, whote foam. Light hayish malt, subtle aromatic hop. Sweet honeyish, hayish and aromatic hops in the entry, delicate perfect balance, citric finish, hay and flowers retronasal. Fullbodied, chewy - you can sink your teeth in it, sparkly mellow mouthfeel. Helles honed to perfection.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Moderately sweet grainy and slightly doughy malty aroma with notes of herbal and slightly metallic hops. Sweet and light-bitter flavour, slim body impression with a well-matured and smooth mouthfeel. Slim and slightly chalky pale malty base with herbal accents; rather dry slightly sweet and bitter hoppy finish. 03.VI.10
