Smaczny i bardzo mętny weizen. Ciężko z dna to wszystko wymieszać. Ma aromat ciekawy jabłkowo-bananowy. Na podniebieniu zaznacza się wyraźna cierpkość co jest jak najbardziej pożądane. Kwasowość także dość spora

Koelschtrinker (22090) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 21, 2011
Nichts Besonderes. 11/8/8/8/4/8

Bottle. Golden color. Hazy. Bottle. Banana, citrus and yoghurt in the aroma. Citrus, yoghurt and rancid butter in the flavor. Diacetyl ruins a potentially good beer.

It’s unclear, warm golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of banana, yeast and wheat. The flavour is sweet with notes of banana and other fruits, banana peel, wheat, yeast and the finish is slightly spicy – not bad at all!

Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour with mediumized creamy white head, that leaves nice live. Aroma is wheat, bananas, some spices, mild tropical fruits as well as some herbal tones. Flavour is bananas, wheat, some herbs, spices and fruityness. Refreshing while quite cool, gets sticky in the palate as it warms up.

Huge, towering, very dense yellowish head over fully hazy orange beer. Vague diacetyl smell; very spicy, yeasty esters, citrus and some banana. Citrussy, quite malty with some maltsweetness, and again very yeast-determined. Even meaty esters in the finish; strange celeriac flavour. Refreshing, more so than most GE Weizenbiere. Rather origineel Weizen, obviously aimed at the long-evening drinkers. Many thanks, Seb!

Bottle 500ml. @ home.
Hazy medium orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, moderate yeasty, exotic fruity as pineapple, papaya, mango, orange notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20100201]

Draft @ Sandkerwa. Nice evenly cloudy dark orange color. Low ester aroma. Mostly malt. Nice toasty wheat smells. Liking that. Medium to high carbonation but good for the style and smooth. Sweet, nutty, cookies, like oatmeal raisin flavors. Great grain, features the wheat more than the yeast..very enjoyable in that respect. Thickness in the palate signals yeast but no sweetness is imparted except for that nice oatmeal cookie character. The nuttiness is great.

Draft @ Sandkerwa. Cloudy tan with a fluffy head. The aroma is a bit funky - some wheat but also plastic and paint. Spritzy, wheaty body is just lively enough to cut through some heavier plastic notes.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts mild and fruity. The finish is more yeasty, still fine fruity. Very drinkable and good beer!
