From tap at the brewpub. It’s unclear, dark brown with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel and syrup. The flavour is moderately sweet and has notes of caramel, dark syrup, light licorice, and the finish is slightly dry with hints of nuts.

A Mes rate. Mini cask at Chris O’s "Has anyone seen my stool?" tasting.
Deep mahogany with a decent beige head. Decent mix of chocolate and caramel with a hint of leather and something vaguely herbal. Delicate bitterness in the finish. Not bad.
