COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A surprisingly easy-drinking, copper-toned Belgian-style pale ale with an "in-your-face" floral hop presence in both the smooth, bitter front end and the delicate, aromatic backend. Our Cotton Pickin’ Farmhouse IPA is more of a hybrid, in that it’s brewed and dry-hopped with bigger, punchier American Centennial & Amarillo whole cone hops for a more localized aroma and finish.

Amber color with a big frothy creamy head. Nose of brett and flowers. Some bitter orange peel, lots of spice and flower, and a doughy brett finish. I'm not a big fan of the Belgian ipas or farmhouse ales....

I was expecting this beer to be much better. Part with a nice thick fluffy frothy cream colored head. Aroma is caramel malt yeast herbs and a little perfume. Flavor’s Like nose at first, bittersweet, good carbonation, but then it has an extremely long and overly bitter finish.

Draft. Slightly hazy golden amber color, medium white head. Aroma has peppery stone fruit, light funk. Taste is funky bittersweet fruit. Really nice.

Draft sampler poured a hazy yellow with white head. Aroma was a bit funky a bit tart a bit hoppy a bit delicious. Had never heard of these guys before but this rocked. Blending in small doses of funk tartness and hops dive wonderfully and it tasted so good.

Bottle back from NC. A little funky. A little tart and fruity on the finish. Funky cheese at first and then it leads into the hop profile a bit. Finish is a little bitter with some nice light hops. Yeast is a little unique at first but that fades after a bit into a really nice hooped up saison.

haw river? taking out any historic sense out of it, really dumb name for a brewery, what, did nelson name it? .. light floral and yeast .. plucky mouth .. straight forward and soft .. good beer .. . . On the other hand… you have different fingers.

Bottle, from Highcraft Beer, Cary. Real good aroma, yeasty and fruity. Nice funk, on the barnyard side, with peach and orange fruity notes. Clean brownish orange color, good head head and lace. Sour flavor. Medium body, creamy dense mouthfeel, sweet and sour finish. Dang that’s nice. Flavor has a lot going on. Nice mix of yeast funk and citrus hops.

On tap at the brewery. Rusty orange pour. Aroma is very tangerine forward with caramel and toffee notes shining through. Taste offers noticeable citrus upfront with sweetness from the rye and bitterness from the Belgian yeast. Works well for someone that normally does not like Belgian styles and IPAs together in the same glass.
