Light-bodied, all-malt Golden Ale with sophisticated bitterness balanced by a delicate citrus finish. Small-batch brewed with two-row wheat and caramel malts. Our proprietary blend of hops adds a tropical note. Beautiful Kaua‘i is the oldest of the Hawaiian islands. Relax on soft golden sands, cooled by the gentle trade winds. Pour a Hawai’i Nui Brewing Kaua’i Golden Ale. It’s the perfectly refreshing brew for a beautiful day in Paradise.

Gold beer pouring with a white head. Aroma has hay. Light watery texture. Flavor is light malt with a good bite. Light straw finish.

Golden coloured body with a mild light amber and copper body with a small tan head, about half a centimetre tall. Aroma of light malt, honey, citrus, grain, cereal and a little bit of sugars. Light-bodied; Strong honey and mild malt flavour with some subdued grain and cereal and a bit of unfinished sugars and little else. Aftertaste is grainy with some honey, earth, cereal, grain and a bit of caster sugar - fairly mild. Overall, a pretty poor and unassuming beer with little in terms of flavour and even less with complexity. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from the Wine Stop in Paia, Maui, Hawaii on 02-March-2012 for US$1,99 sampled on 26-December-2016 a few hours before leaving back to Hawaii in the morning!

12 oz can. Canned on 8/25/15. (Posh Liquor) Honolulu, HI.
Cloudy golden color with a small white head. Fruity hops, mild bitterness, some sweetness and balancing maltiness in the aroma. Not bad. The flavor is dry fruity and floral hops, mild bitterness and malt. Dryish.

Draft. Orange-apple malt and hay aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet orange-pineapple malt and mildly bitter herbal hay flavor. Nice body. Pleasant.

Can from Coco Cove Market Waikiki 090115. A beer that does not take a lot of thinking about. Easy to drink and easy to like.

Can. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, husks), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs), with a hint of diacetyl. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, husky. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Light, watery, husky, barely drinkable.

ClutchMasterson (64) - Aiea, Hawaii, USA - NOV 6, 2014
Pours a light hazy golden with a 1 finger head which quickly dissipates. Aroma is a slight metallic with a sweet bread and hay and a hint of cheese. Has the same bread and almost butter cookie taste with a smooth malt finish and a slight bitterness on the back. Mouthfeel is slick and wet with light carbonation. This beer for what it is isn’t bad and is good for it being warm on the islands all the time. However, there are definitely better blonde ales to be sought out.

Jyrsa (1007) - - SEP 23, 2014
Pours clear yellow with a bone white head. Nose has hints of fruit but not much else. Taste is a typical pils. Medium palate.
