COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask, keg & bottle; Regular.

A dry oatmeal stout, named after that enduring feature of the Lake District landscape, the dry stone wall and the skilled craftsmen who build them. Aromas of chocolate and coffee, complex rich deep flavours from a blend of 7 malts, moderate bitterness and a long dry finish make Dry Stone Stout a satisfying and warming black beer.

Cask in North Bar, Leeds. Pours a pitch black, small head. Aroma is great - coffee, chocolate, roasted.malts, oatmeal sweetness. Taste is fairly bitter and dry - coffee, minerals, some bramble, some roasted malts. Thinner body than I’d like, but dry and almost chalky in the finish. Good.

Cask at Dog & Gunn. Pours a near black with a brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma combination dry roasted malts and dark grains well. Flavor has the same combination of dry roasted malts and dark grains but there is also a bit of bitter chocolate underlying.
