Cask at the 2017 Manchester Beer Festival. Gold pour with a white head. Corn, citrus and vanilla aroma. Apricot, citrus and light malt flavour. Nice.

Cask at The Manchester Beer Festival. A clear deep golden colour with a frothy white head. Aroma of kiwi, passionfruit, apricot, some orange, a little grapefruit, a hint of sugar, slight biscuity malts and subtle grassy hops. Taste of passionfruit, apricot, gooseberry, some kiwi, grapefruit, slight orange, a little biscuity malts and subtle floral, grassy hops. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A dry, fruity, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Packed full of NZ hops, really fruity and hoppy. My kind of IPA.

bottle from Hopticial Beer Store Doncaster. Golgen colour. Mango, kiwi, passion fruit, apricot and candy aroma. Taste: start is citrusy and tropuical fruit, sweet middle, high hoppy and bittery finnish.

Creamy citrus fruits, grapefruit, lemon milkshake, grain malts. Slightly hazy, dark gold, small, frothy, white head. Light bitter. More creamy citrus fruits, grapefruit again, sherbet lemon, bitterness intensifies, soft carbonation. Fantastic Golden Ale, excellent citrus fruits in aroma and palate. Cask at GBBF16, Olympia.

TheKernOwl (214) - West Sussex, ENGLAND - JUL 9, 2016
Golden beer with big funky grassy hops and fruit - rocket, smoked cheese and grilled apricot all there. Palate hoppy too, with mixed peel fruit. Very dry finish.

Pours amber with loght white head. Moderate lacing. Aroma druity, passion fruit and apricot. Taste similar sweet fruit and well balanced with hops. Not bad.

GoufCustom (2036) - HONG KONG - JUL 2, 2016

330 ml bottle bought at YATA in MOKO, Mong Kok.

Looks: Translucent straw amber colour; Near zero head with residual soapy white foam which fades in 5 seconds; Fair sticky lacing with zero carbonation.

Aroma: Quite fragrant Ale malt, with light passion fruits, apricots, mangoes, floral, sugar, pine, light resins, biscuits and light lemon.

Taste: Mid sweet fair Ale malt, with grapefruits, faint apricots, floral, light molasses, light pine, moderate resins, dry biscuits, strong lemon oil, strong bitter hops and fresh grass.

Body: Close to light body. Watery and slightly oozy palate.

Mouth Feel: Fairly good Ale maltyness in a very thin background. Strong grapefruit and citrus oil dominate, plus fair floral, moderate sweetness, biscuits, strong lemon and fresh grass to round. Very simple but quite nice!

Hoppiness: Light passion fruits, apricots, mangoes, floral, pine, light resins, and light lemon in nose. Grapefruits, faint apricots, floral, light pine, resins, strong citrus oil and fresh grass in taste; Bitterness is strong for a lasting, high astringent bitter-sweet finish.

After Taste: Dry. Oily citrusy and strong bitter to mouth.

Comments: I was expecting some real tropical fruity aroma from this one, but it was underwhelming and weak, yet its citrus hop taste is oily and fresh, strong and effective. Decent enough overall, but I rather have a NZ Pale Ale from New Zealand instead.

daje (4436) - NORWAY - MAY 31, 2016
On tap at What’s Brewing 2015, day 1. Hazy orange body, medium white head. Aroma of pineapple, grapefruit, forest fruits. Taste is bitter, tropical fruits, clean and dry. Good body without being sweet. Refreshing hoppy finish, same tropical theme lasting.
