10.4.2014. Mild, lemonish aroma. Sth similar in aroma and taste, some fruit, but its stuffy. Also citrus, bitter. Too simple.

Bottle. Booths, Ilkley. Murky, dark gold. Film of white head. Not a looker. Doesnt drink that great, either. Its like a beer thats been stored too warm. Id have to say that one or two of the beers I last got from Booths, have been like this. I dont think this is how it left the brewery...

I like the passion fruit thing going on, the aroma is nice, but i thought this was hard drinking, not for any not pleasant things, but that I thought each mouth was like a hammer blow, and I wanted something more measured and longer in drinking, this is one of those short drinks, it all happens up front, then a gap, and then you are left with a lingering thing that makes you frown a bit, as if like you didnt enjoy it, making you a bit gun-shy.

Drinking this a couple of weeks before its best-by-date on the opposite side of the world, so its not anywhere near fresh. The punchy hop aroma that others mention has been replaced by the smell of concrete after a rain, the crystal clear is now hazy straw, yet the taste and palate are damn good. My god, I imagine this would be in the mid-to-high FOURS fresh.

Bue à la pression. Grosse amertume présente tout le long de la dégustation et qui s'intensifie en finale. Bel équilibre général. Finale sèche. Faut aimer le houblon !

Alluring aroma with hints of citrus, pine, and passionfruit. A hop forward full bodied flavour follows - and makes it an excellent brew.

Cask at Crystal Palace (JDW) Glasgow. Cloudy orange/golden coloured, minimal but lasting white head, light hops in the nose. Moderate malty, citrusy hoppy and fruity with notes of spices. Light peachy hoppy notes in dry bitter finish. Nice brew.
