Pours a clear golden with a fairly thick ivory head. Aroma has a tempting tone of fresh hops, with hints of malt and tropical fruit. Hops really come out in the flavor, riding undertones of malt and sweet tropical fruits. Mouthfeel is smooth, reasonably firm, not very fizzy, leaving a mango and hoppy finish. A toast to the Kiwis!

Bottle. Piney slightly catty aromas. Pours very bright yellow gold. Piney catty hops with hints of tropical fruits. Finishes light & dry. I like it and would like to try it cask conditioned.

Crystal clear yellow. Thin white head. Dull skunky hop nose. Dull clean lager like flavore. Light bodied and a bit floral boring ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice mouth full of pineapples, papaya & grapefruit finishing with a bucket full of fuck off hops. This beer is a sweet & sour joy to behold. Rated by BrewTom

leebotton (406) - Bristol, Somerset, ENGLAND - MAR 20, 2014
Sweet syrupy, honey aroma from the hops with a hint of tropical. Ice cream / toffee tones. Clear golden with ever so slightly off-white head. Some unexpected and different flavours coming through, a citrussy, slightly sour, kiwi flavour (incidentally) with a sort of bitter soft finish. A good brew, easy drinking without too much inensity but enough character.

3.2
ManVsBeer (10927) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 17, 2014
Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Light golden with little head to it. Expected more of a hopped tropical fruit explosion than the crisp but mild pale ale that it is. Aroma is stronger and promises more than the small grapefruit led citric taste provides.

3fourths (9357) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 2, 2014
Not in good shape. Honey and cantaloupe and stale paper-y oxidized pale malt. Sour fruit rind, burnt pineapple, old peanuts, a kind of green mildew flavor and aroma. Medium body, lightly sweet with dull hop character and little carbonation to give life to what is there. From bottle.
