Appearance: Completely clear light golden body with a thin, pure white head. Light carbonation.
Taste: Very hoppy with a tropical fruit flavour. Pine resin in there too. Dry, bitter finish.
Palate: Medium body with a sticky mouthfeel. Soft carbonation.
Overall: One for hop heads. Lovely sticky resin and fruit flavours. Arguably Hawkshead’s finest beer.
Pale hoppy new world hopped British pale ale
A small amount of wheat Malta adds refreshing character to the beer.
Personally I am a big fan of Nelson Sauvin hop and I like the fact that now we have move passed showcasing than and into using them more technically in a blend of buttering and aroma hops. Stumblor (64) - - MAR 24, 2013
Wonderful pacific pale, similar to the other well hopped hawkshead beers, with a distinctive tasting citrusy hop with lots of depth. Refreshing and dry.

Cask at The Manchester Beer Festival. A clear deep golden colour with a frothy white head. Aroma of kiwi, passionfruit, apricot, some orange, a little grapefruit, a hint of sugar, slight biscuity malts and subtle grassy hops. Taste of passionfruit, apricot, gooseberry, some kiwi, grapefruit, slight orange, a little biscuity malts and subtle floral, grassy hops. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A dry, fruity, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Packed full of NZ hops, really fruity and hoppy. My kind of IPA. gotrebar (34) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - JUL 8, 2017
Keg at Hawkshead Brewery in Staveley, UK. Beautiful white, frothy head with a clear golden body. Slight aroma, but nice and bitter on the palate. Definitely worth the experience.
