Cask, Keg & Bottle - Brewed with several varieties of New Zealand hops and created by a Kiwi, Head Brewer Matt Clarke. Passionfruit, mango and apricot aromas and a citrus bitterness are balanced by the sweetness of English Maris Otter barley to produce an extraordinary beer which showcases the unique hops of New Zealand.

Keg at the Beer Hall, Staveley. Dark gold, hazy with a lot of visible carbonation. Light and slightly tart aroma of gooseberry, lime juice, a touch of candied citrus. Taste is on the bitter side, with slightly musty hops in the long finish. Uncompromisingly bitter, but never acrid, aftertaste. Packs a punch, and certainly enjoyable, but not one of my favourites from Hawkshead.

Lett tåkete gulbrun med hvitt skum. Lukter noe trevirke, sitrus og korn. Middels - i fylde. Mye bitterhet, sitrusskall. (Grunerløkka Mikrobryggfestival 2017)

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2017 Truely awesome on tap at Hawkshead Brewery, Staveley. After living in NZ for 12 years this was a breath of fresh air. NZ hops are amazing. Flavourful and hoppy beer with citrus top notes followed by rich depth of dry IPA lushesness. A classic 5 star beer.

Keg, The Criterion, Leicester. Hazy golden with a firm foam. Biscuit and light caramel toasted malts with lemon and grapefruit. Jammy apricot with tropical fruit. Lilt soft drink. Pithy white grape skin. Some English hedgerow. Dry spicy finish. Massively drinkable for its strength. Hawkshead not so traditional now.

Keg at Hawkshead Brewery in Staveley, UK. Beautiful white, frothy head with a clear golden body. Slight aroma, but nice and bitter on the palate. Definitely worth the experience.
