Backlog rating. Cask at CPK, London. It pours a pale straw color with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with notes of mango and ripe peaches, Taste is a bit bland with notes of grains, toffee, biscuit, some milder tropical fruit hops and resin notes. Light in body with soft carbonation. Overall, decent

Cask at the Old Harkers Arms; clear golden yellow pour with a big creamy white head, feint fruity hop aroma, taste has light grapefruit, sweet malts, a hint of spice quite pleasant.

Alengrin (5629) - BELGIUM - SEP 14, 2014
Summer beer with some wheat malts. Snow white, thinnish but stable head, colour clear golden blonde. Grassy hops in the nose as well as hints of yeast, banana and grapefruit. Light caramelly malt sweetness in the mouth, grainy, vague wheat sourishness, yeasty and dry with spicy citrus touch and hop bitter finish. Less creamy than usual in this style - unfortunately, I’d add - but still very enjoyable.
