Beesbeer (452) - WALES - OCT 24, 2012
UPDATED: OCT 25, 2012 Fresh and grassy..... About right for a grassy location, Immediate hops and bitterness followed by hay and honey flavours and then back to a full bitter punch and clean zesty finish

Nilz (511) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - AUG 26, 2012
A pale amber ale with a hoppy aroma. Taste of citrus, grapefruit-like fruitiness and a pleasant dry bitter finish.

HogTownHarry (7010) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - AUG 24, 2012
Handpull at The Mudlark. Clear pale gold with a solid frothy/creamy whiteish rocky head. Wheat, lemongrass, light cereal, no alcohol. Taste has more lemongrass and lemon zest, a bit of alcohol - airy body, a bit astringent, fairly long dry pithy finish that seems to transmute to grapefruit from grass - two damned fine ales to kick off my Southwark pub wander.

knickskicks (1162) - - AUG 18, 2012
On cask. Light golden, white head. Lemon, banana, grass, straw, biscuit. Very high quality for a 3.5% session beer.

medallaisla (91) - PUERTO RICO - AUG 14, 2012
Clear golden, white head. Fruity, pale malts, bitter ending. Too thin, but very good otherwise.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Almost clear beer, light gold. Residual white head. Light dry palate. Good marmalade citrus. grapefruit and orange. Light dry finish. Good flavour for its abv.

[email protected], walsall. Quite bitter but light and pale very refreshing in sun. Have tasted better though.

Cask @ The Windsor Castle. Pours deep golden with a medium creamy white head. The nose is bright citrus, sugary lemon candy, grass, some honey and summery fruits. The taste is a burst of countryside fruity flavors. Some lemon, grapefruit, strawberry, rhubarb, white grape. There’s an assertive mild bitter hop presence. A bit of brash grassiness. Light dry finish. Very drinkable. It’s amazing that this beer’s only 3.5% Overall, great.

Nuffield (4180) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - JUL 20, 2012
Served rather cold, I thought. Clear yellow once it does a cool cascade thing. Very cheery hops, flora aroma and moderate bitterness. Would satisfy US drinkers. Frothy palate. And all for 3.5%! Fabulous. (cask at the Forth Hotel, Newcastle).

Cask conditioned handpump Southwark Tavern London 17/07/12. A copper to gold coloured beer with no head. Citrus hoppiness and sweetness in the aroma. A decent body but there’s an odd cloyingness to it. The hops are good but it feels like the malts overcompensate for the lack of ABV.
