[cask at SIBA GNBF’11, Manchester] Slightly hazy golden beer pour with a decent white head from the sparkled festival. Herbal hoppy aroma, plenty of citrus in evidence. More on the flavour – positively grapefruity on the finish. Superbly sessionable and really very nice indeed. Only 3.5% as well – this is along the lines of Fyne Ales Jarl for packing flavour into little abv. Champion beer at the 2011 GNBF, and I’ve no qualms with that at all [28102011]

Cask Very good dirty-yellow head over metallic golden beer. Ureum-rich hops, citric, dry hopbales, smelling very American. Taste is more British; short sweetish flavour, followed by ultra dry UK & USA hops. Ends on straw and grain; flavour of lemonsweets. Very light-British MF, long dry-bitterish aftertaste, then suddenly utterly gone. Quite nice, if in my opinion pretty un-British blonde. The lemonsweets aroma is a tad unsettling, if not disturbing.

UPDATED: NOV 8, 2012 Cloudy straw medium gold with a thick, lasting, sticky, lacy white head. Smells of yeast, sweet malt and citrus grapefruit/lemon. Medium light sticky body with light dryness. Strong tart grapefruit lemon and orange peal with some fruity elements. Dry sweet sour feel. Overall its very enjoyable a weak IPA.

Cask at Craft Beer Co. Very pale golden colour, vagurly hoppy aromas. Much fuller than expected given ABV and nose with lovely hoppy character. Really long bitter finish with hint of grapefruit. This level of flavour with such a modest alcohol hit is quite an achievement.

Cask: Golden, lacy creamy white head, sticking to the glass; solid citrussy nose with boasting grapefruit; light bodied, moderate bitter-sweet flavour; endlessly lingering dry bitter and fruity (grapefruits) finish. Very pleasant......

Cask, Gloucester Arms, Penrith. Beautifully pale citrusy beer. Crisp, sharp, medium dry, with a long, slightly tangy finish. Faintly spiky on the back of the throat, creamy mouthfeel, whilst retaining that bitter edge. A great summertime beer, with a pleasing flowery hop aroma.

Cask at the CASK Pub & Kitchen, London on 17th April 2010. Gold with white lacing head. Citric and sharp herby hop, and a rich grapefruit finish. Zingy mouthfeel. Enjoyable pint.

On handpull at the brewery’s Beer Hall, a pale gold with a white creamy head. A light fruity nose. Light citrus fruit on a soft palate.
