On tap at the brewpub, and dispensed to a goblet showing a hazed, orangey amber color, with a modest but persistent layer of off white head foam, and ribbons of lacing. The nose introduced a bit of initial dankness, then expressive orange/tangerine, some ruby grapefruit, light spice, and a pleasant dose of malt and sweetness. Better than medium bodied, with decent carbonation, the taste added moderate but lingering, citrus & rind bitterness, and some cereal-like malt to smooth. Quite flavorful, and food complementary.

Sugary sweet ipa - little to no belgian.character - watery texture - overly simple sweetness - flat hop profile - finish of fruit cocktail and maraschino.cherries - not good.

Poured as part of a flight from draft at Haymarket Pub. Orange with white head. Spicy floral and fruity taste. Better belgium ipa than I usually have. Not much for aroma

This one poured a lightly hazy dark yellow color with a white head. Aroma was basically all citra hops and not much else really. Flavor was fresh citra, cracked wheat notes too. Really nice stuff.

November 12, 2013 - on tap at brewpub. Cloudy yellow pour with lots of head and lacing. Aroma was belgian yeast and citrus hops. Taste was dominated by the belgian yeast, would have liked to see more of the citra hops.

Tap flight at Haymarket Brewpub. Honey colored pour. White head with ok lace on the glass. Big soapy, floral aroma. Fantastic. Taste is similarly fantastic with the flavors of the nose and a wheat malt finish. This is the best beer Ive had in a while. Slightly sweet and very aromatic with delicious hop qualities. Creamy mouthfeel. Very nice.
